Paul Lynch – A revelation! – Kevin Potts/Russel Brunson Event Feedback

I went to the cambridge event described in this post

My reactions are a little mixed.

Russel Brunson   Russel is relatively unkown iin the UK – but clearly walks the same walk that he talks! He earns well from niche microconituity sites, so clearly knows how to create them – so it is worth considering his microcontinuity programs. Microcontinuity is the idea of a imited period subscription programme – that therefore can be hands off, because there is no pressure to create new content. A single course will do.

To an old hand – the most interesting aspect of this: is the conversion stats for the “free CD” as opposed to free online report, and other tired media.  The stats convince me to try this!

Paul Lynch was a true revelation – and his story an inspiration. The injured footballer, turned outsource SEO specialist who has launched a number of innovative products too – such as a youtube traffic system with a twist. Pauls organisation  has got sites ranked for some of the toughest expression on the planet from Make money to Lose weight. It was fascinating to hear him explain how he did this…not with millions of links but a few of the RIGHT links – and more importantly the strategy that convinces people to give him the links. I will not steal his thunder by saying how he does it – My recommendation – grab the next chance to hear him speak..

Well worth going just for that.

However a number of reservations.

I remain to be convinced that Kevin Potts has the track record needed to offer high end mentoring or apprentice programmes -it was quite a revelation to discover how new his own earnings are -Nov 09 first dollar online is  far too recent to pass on the “secret”, and you get the distinct impression he is earning far more from selling “how to build niche membership sites” than he has ever earned from building them. The same criticism can be levelled at the membership site script he and Ian Jupp sell.

Only time will tell…whether Kevin can really build 7 figure businesses for others….

What was a real downer was an overt network marketing pitch which made the event feel cheap. Now I know that Chris Farrel was not there because of family problems – which gave them a problem of space to fill, but please gents! fill it with internet marketing, which was the pretext underwhich you got me  to go!!
